Parts

The multitude of "Parts" involved in the manufacturer of lift trucks runs the gamut from engine and body parts to tires, hydraulics, seats, lights, safety equipment and so forth. In addition, each manufacturer has its own "Original Equipment" (OEM) parts that are specific to their equipment. The manufacturer's dealers are required by their contract to utilize OEM parts whenever possible, irrespective of the availability of an equal or less expensive option.

In some cases, the OEM part is the only choice available to a service vendor, or perhaps the best option. In many cases, non-OEM parts are manufactured by reliable national sources that are considerably more cost effective to utilize.

LES has negotiated arrangements with national providers of items that are generic in terms of the manufacturer, such as tires, batteries, etc., as well as non-OEM parts that impact virtually all aspects of lift truck component parts.

LES works with all service vendors to insure that the most cost effective solutions are utilized, both in terms of initial costs and long term replacement factors. LES also champions the cause for the customer and the dealer with any manufacturer/dealer related issues to minimize and justify any contract exception questions.
